BNI provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals. It does so by helping you build relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals.
Last year, members of BNI passed millions of referrals that generated billions of dollars of business for each other. Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of people promoting your business, and in return you are promoting their businesses. What goes around comes around. Networking requires commitment. The most successful chapters of BNI are comprised of participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another and operate as a high performing Team.
BNI Australia is a fast growing business referral group focusing on helping members succeed in their profession and industry. Our aim is the help business to gain new clients. We do this by allowing our members to grow their networks and develop a lead generation strategy. We invite owners, executives and other representatives of all types and sizes of businesses to join our business referral club. • Weekly meetings last for 90 minutes. Members need to arrive on time and stay for the entire meeting.
• Only one person from each business specialty is accepted into a chapter of BNI.
• All participants must represent their primary occupation.
• Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute.

There is an initial application fee, annual membership dues, and chapters have a venue fee. Please see visit a BNI chapter and all the necessary information will be provided at the meeting. When you apply to participate in BNI your application will be reviewed by the chapter’s Membership Committee and you will be notified of the status of your application before the next meeting.

BNI started in Australia in 1997, and today there are well over 6,000 businesses that participate in BNI in Australia. BNI is for all types of businesses. Today Chapter Membership is made up of small, medium and large businesses, including representation from major financial institutions in Australia. We now have over 200 business referral chapters or clubs across the country.
